I have three children and I have regretted EVERY Graco purchase. I have found Chicco is the only brand to go with. They are easy to clean when it comes to taking apart and putting back together. Their straps system is simple, I have fought with Graco and never have been able to get the straps tight enough for safety. Installing any Chicco is so simple. I don't need to kneel in Chicco to get it tight enough and their system to loosen the straps is one finger control. I think the product is a bit high priced for many families though. As for quality of ride, two of my children have loved the soft padding and comfortable strap pads that also protect the chest from the buckle.When my 4 month old was born we used the Doona and he absolutely HATED it. He constantly cried until he made himself hoarse and it caused me such anxiety that I was afraid to travel anywhere. I remembered that my now 3 y/o hated his infant car seat too and once we switched him to a convertible his crying stopped. I looked at Chicco because my oldest already had one and really enjoyed it (especially on long road trips). I absolutely love this car seat and there's no more screaming in the car! My son will still whine a little, but falls asleep within 2 minutes of the car moving. So glad I bought this. I feel comfortable shopping and running errands again!Easy to install. Difficult to clean. The seat cushion doesn’t come out so you’ll have to clean with a towel and spray. You can’t just put it in the washer. The material is great however my daughter’s shoe has Velcro and it has pulled some of the fabric. The overall quality is very sturdy and great. Chicco makes solid items.This is the best car seat ever! I bought a different brand that was cheaper and it was so difficult to install and to take apart! My child tends to throw up a lot in the car and this car seat is by far the easiest to take out, disassemble, wash, and put back together! The cheaper car seat is still currently not put back together after cleaning. If your hesitant because of the price don’t be! You pay for what you get and this is the best!This seat is beautiful and comfortable for my 10 months old son, I love the cup holder and how it folds in when not in use. It’s a great purchase.I love this car seat for my son. It was a great way to transition from his old one. I’d recommend it, easy install!It's easy to hook up and seems very safe. Also seems more comfortable to for my daughter than cheaper ones (cooler on the back too).Knocked a star off though because I feel misled about the size... It's pretty big and heavy compared to our last seat.Cleartex is a must because it’s non-toxic and who knew flame retardants were so harmful! Love the color and ease of use along with price!
