I really want to give this product a good review because it has a good price point and is a nice upgrade to the vehicle. However there are some significant misses below.1. NO INSTRUCTIONS! Online videos show you how to match up plugs, but a monkey can do that. Videos are clips that are being used for multiple products since it jumps from things being in place to all of a sudden a different look and thing not plugged in.With no instructions the problem becomes troubleshooting issues as there is nothing to help you. Like my backup camera not working, I even got out the multimeter and tested for 12v and grounds etc. This means you are relegated to use any and all methods to troubleshoot and splice into wires that may or may not be correct.2. I returned the first unit out of frustration and bought again to try again the install. The first would not recognize the tailgate camera I had.3. Now with it installed and backup camera working here is what I ran into:a. Hazard light wiring too short to reach the connector placed in the middle. With all the cable a simple wiring harness would have gone a long ways. I cut and soldered 6 links of wire to make it work. (If you do this, the flashes may continue to flash until the wiring is repaired, this will run your battery down) once repaired turn off and on and should be good.b. Backup video signal does not receive in real time. I noticed when in reverse, a car went behind me and it looked like it was stuttering (stop, go, stop, go)across the screen.c. Speaking of reverse, the cord lengths bring the power into the cab for the backup camera means you might have to use the yellow video wire to power the backup camera when the head unit triggers reverse. (Which now that I'm thinking about it clearly might be the on off signal interruption that make the camera do a stuttering) - again instructions!d. Radio button is a big button on the face and when selected, scans through all the stations over and over and over again. Either something is wrong or the harness for the antenna isn't seated because it can be on the Ford, half of the male to female doesn't insert.e. Standard navigation is slow even though the unit should have plenty on the specs to run fast and smooth.f. Slow moving through menus and into boxes to enter places or search for something.g. No Instructions how to get it to connect to android auto or carplay. I have to look at similar videos and hope it is the same. Currently still not connected.h. Temperature won't switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit. There is a setting on the unit but when selected from Chinese to US, C to F, etc they won't change. I changed the setting on my truck dash and now the temperature show 77 but the C still remains.i. The plastic mounting clips are cheap and break easily. And with as many times as you will need to take the panels on and off trying to figure out what's wrong. They need to be better. Also screwing them into the head unit with a screwdriver was stripping out the screws. (I recommend a drill bit size up and predrill them.)j. Cigar lighter doesn't snap into place and stay. This could be the part or the opening not sure which. It just seems to easily pop out.Good things are, it looked good and mounts beautiful and like it was designed to be there. Vibrant colors .Just needs a little refinement and some damn instructions and an actual person to support this. I don't want to return it I want to get a little help solving these issues but I will if I can't resolve the major items.Hope this helps someone.
